About us

Non-profit organization from Germany

In the sense of non-profit, cargirlsociety stands for justice, respect and cohesion in the car and tuning scene. We are committed to an open and tolerant community where every person with a car guide feels welcome.

Our story

Car Girl Society was founded by Vanessa Beer and Lina Ellert in 2018. We both come from North Rhine-Westphalia in Germany, were born in the late nineties and noticed that the right cargirls were virtually not present on social media.

We talked about the idea of creating our own Instagram page, which should differ from the mainstream. Other women should have the same experiences as us, getting to know other car lovers.

After we put our site online, there was an incredible amount of positive feedback, so we just flooded with ideas.

In 2019, we launched our online shop with stickers, clothes and accessories, and a year later we expanded the range with our spreadshop with even more selection.

For women, LGBTQ members, People of Color – in short, everyone who is still looking for their place in the car scene.

The Founder

In the meantime, we are a whole team of young, self-enthusiastic women. Our members come from all over the world and can network through both our Instagram page with over 15,000 followers as well as through our Facebook and WhatsApp groups.

For the coming years, we plan group meetings (which in the past could not take place because of Corona), of course, new products and many more actions to destabilize and strengthen cohesion.

It would be a dream, of course, to do something on the spot as well and to give the members a real place to exchange. But we are still far from that. But maybe our shop will be larger than two shoe boxes.

Until then, we rely on the power of the Internet to carry our message to the world. Therefore, women have already talked through our stickers at local meetings and friendship has been linked by the shared hobby.

Our new blog will publish articles and experiences on interesting topics around the car scene. These are not only written by the Cargirlsociety administrators, but other members can also engage with topics that are of interest to them.

We continue to hope to support each of you to advance this project and reach and support as many people as possible. Follow us on Instagram and Facebook, bring our products out into the world and be part of the movement towards a slightly better and fairer world.

It’s so fun to see Cargirls network and make new friendships through us.

Since day 1, I have been watching the scene evolve to the positive and support each other.

I am incredibly pleased with the opportunity to be actively involved and be able to do something directly.
